This was a disappointing competition for Elena and Anton, as they skated the only clean short program of the event, and then their worst long program of the season. Anton fell on both side-by-side jumps, the triple toe loop and double axel, and Elena missed both throws, triple salchow and triple loop. It was a poor end to what was otherwise an excellent first season together.
